Airport Supervisor - FAI
Fairbanks Airport Supervisors lead and guide guest service representatives and luggage handlers in the performance of their duties. Airport supervisors set the tone for the spirit, attitude and competence of their team members.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and guide team members in the performance of their duties at the airport and hotels
Lead guest boarding proceedures and transfers, coordinating with team members and coach drivers
Create accurate and effective weekly schedules
Review and submit accurate timesheets in a timely fashion
Participate in pre-season preparation and training
Serve as a guest service representative and/or luggage handler
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Operations Supervisors must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
Excellent communication and people skills
Assist guests and systematically resolve issues
At least 21 years of age by May 1, 2010
Possess a valid Alaska driver's license and acceptable driving record such as no more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three years
Submit to pre-employment drug test
Successfully complete a driver training program and pass all associated tests.
Provide a DOT Medical Card
US citizen or can provide proof of authorization to work in the US
Lift and move 50-75 pounds
Work early morning, late evening and/or week-end shifts
Training Timeline
Once hired, the Operations Manager will provide necessary training to do a great job. Luggage truck driver training will be conducted by a Royal Celebrity Tours driver-trainer.
Housing
This position is based in Fairbanks. Employees are responsible for their own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for transportation to and from Alaska.
Wages & Bonuses
First year: $12.00/hour
Employees are eligible for a bonus of 10% of their gross wages upon completion of their work agreement.

Employees who start working prior to July 1, 2010 and who successfully complete their work agreement are eligible for a highly discounted cruise on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruise Lines.
